The Delray Villas Plat 1 Board meets on the 2nd Wednesday of the month, with the exception of
July and August.

Dear Delray Villas Plat 1 Residents,
We would like to inform everyone that an alligator has been spotted in the southeast lake off of Via Flora at the canal between Plat 1 & Plat 3. Please exercise caution and remain alert when near the lake shores, especially if you are walking pets or have small children with you.
Alligators can pose a serious risk to both people and animals. They are often drawn to the water’s edge, particularly during warmer months, and may see smaller animals as potential prey. To ensure the safety of everyone, we ask that you:

Keep pets on a leash and avoid walking them too close to the lake’s edge.

Avoid feeding or approaching the alligator, as this can encourage aggressive behavior.

Stay vigilant when near the lake, particularly if you are not familiar with spotting alligators or other wildlife.

Report any additional sightings to the Lakes Committee.
We appreciate your attention to this matter and encourage everyone to share this message with neighbors. Let's all do our part to stay safe!

There is a page on our community access channel, dedicated for your relaxation. It runs 24hrs a day. Just go to channel 99, scroll to Relaxation TV and take a deep breath.
There is a “Members Only “section on our website. This special section gives homeowners access to all private Plat information. Sign up and become aware of what’s going on in our community. There are community forums and even a space for community chat. We make this these options available to bring our neighbors into the conversations about what’s going on in our community there is even a recipe swap, book club and travel forum. Post on these, you never know how many of your neighbors shares your interests.
Joining in on Plat 1 social events is a really cool thing to do! They are all held at our Plat pool. They are always free. The DVP1 Fun Committee sponsors the basics. We do ask that participants bring a dish to share. We’ve found that we have some awesome cooks in our neighborhood. We have Movie Nights, Bingo and other fun activities. A 50/50 raffle helps us continue to provide these events for you all.
